DD who is in lower elementary may benefit from seeing someone to help her out. She is a tad hyper-sensitive and could use some help in that realm as well as standing up for herself and just a general boost. Does anyone have any experience and/or recommendations?

OP here,
Unfortunately, I've had no luck and no concrete leads. No one has given me names from experience. It was put on hold for summer break but I would appreciate anything you may find out that may be helpful and I'll post if anything helpful is discovered as well.

I am sorry I never saw your request for more information. Devora Samet is a behavioral therapist who has trained in others. I don't know what degrees they actually have, but like I recommended earlier Chaya Shor is excellent, there's a Frumy Tyberg (I think that's her name) there's a Mindy Schenker both of whom are supposedly also great. Your best bet would be to call Devora Samet, I think I posted her Tel. # in an earlier post, and explain your situation so she can recommend who she thinks is suitable.

Shifra Miriam Erlich is fantastic. She taught first grade for many years and also trained by Devora Samet and is now doing social skills therapy full-time. You can look her up - she lives on 45 street bet 11 & 12. Good Luck

Thank you. I'm not sure where in Brooklyn the OP is located, but would anyone have suggestions for Flatbush? Boro park is not out of the question, but Flatbush would be much easier.
