Strawberry sauce-what do you use it for?

my family LOVES strawberry sauce. I usually make a fruit salad, and pour it over and add a little crunch.

what else can I do with it?

Pour it on top of a scoop of ice cream next to a brownie!

On choc cake, vanilla cake, fruit cake.
On panacotta.
On ice cream

mmm, I'm hungry!! I have a really good recipie of a mousse ice ream roll, goes really well with strawberry sauce!
here it is:
1st layer: 4 eggs sep
2 Tblspn sugar
5 1/2 oz choc
beat whites, add the sugar and beat till stiff. melt choc and add yolks in fast. Fold into whites. Spread flat on tray and freeze.
2nd layer:
1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 packet vanilla pudding
4 eggs sep
less than 1/4 cup oil
1 vanilla sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
beat whites and sugars till stiff. fold in pudding and orange juice. Whisk the yolks with oil and fold together. Spread on top of layer 1 and freeze.
3rd layer:
1 cup of flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/3 cup coconut
1/2 margarine
spread on cookie sheet and bake in oven on 180, keep mixing it till it becomes crunch. when cool spread on the 2nd layer. Then roll it all up like a swiss roll. It is absolutely delicious!!!

Last Shabbos we had a lovely homemade pound cake with strawberry sauce on it. YUM!

DD later put the extra sauce on top of plain yogurt. And then started eating it straight up Smile

With Pesach coming up, I remembered that I use it a lot on pesach. my family loves pesach sponge cake (which can be quite dry sometimes) with strawberry sauce poured over it.
