I have a computer, only 2 yo or so and it's so slow. I have a feeling its a combination of nothing ever being deleted, a couple of viruses (or maybe just one bad one) and multiple anti-virus programs and the like on it. It's pretty much impossible to use the computer at this point. I can't pay a few hundred to someone to do it for me. I need to know how to save anything important and then erase the computer and reinstall it (I have the CD). Please help me. TIA.

You need to scan all your files first
Because whatever is infected, who re-infect wherever it is installed later. Get Kasparsky 2014...

How do you scan all the files? I'm not sure that I can do anything on the computer so I may need to erase everything without saving, it's so slow.
