We have a trial if both but only want to get one. Netflix does not seem to have such good movies (what we wanted :/) and Hulu plus seems to have better tv?
Any opinions? Any other pluses and minuses?

I love Hulu plus for their Kids section - 100% ad free.

For up to date TV shows and such I would say hulu plus but for movies and to be able to watch tv shows back to back (meaning 3 episodes/seasons without waiting week to week) netflix is definitely the way to go.
They have a lot of movies but some of them are not always available to stream. My suggestion is to find some that you have previously watched, watch them, rate them and then see the suggestions. We have watched many new movies and tv shows through their suggestions.
It is also great for the kids and you can have parental locks and different users. I love netflix.
Occasionally when I am dying to watch the next episode of greys anatomy (like now) but it is locked, then I want hulu plus but then again I did watch the first 8 seasons of greys on netflix in about as many weeks so...
