We are modernish Chabad. My son is 6 years old and can't sit in a desk all day. We are moving to Monsey for work and are looking for an appropriate school setting for ds. Any leads?

Sorry this is a bit late. Don't know how I stumbled upon this one. Assuming you're looking for first grade - go check out Cheder Chabad. You'll prob see other children not sitting in their desks. You'll also see lotsa modernish Chabadnikim.
Then walk downstairs and check out Yeshivas Eitz Chayim also. It's a bit alternative, so I hear.
