My sink is terribly blocked so I purchased a drain cleaner that I've used successfully many times and followed instructions carefully. Suddenly a whole lot of water, along with the chemical stuff shot up from the drain and damaged my sink. B'h no one was hurt.
I live in rented accommodation and can't believe my landlord will be too pleased. It looks awful. Marks in the form of splatters all over the sink.........
Anyone know if it's possible to remove those marks?

water/chemical stains are quite different from a damaged sink ... does the sink still work ... I'm sure the stains will fade over time & cleaning

OP here. The sink itself is fine, its basically a cosmetic issue.
It looks as though it's been splattered with mud and I look like a very incompetent housekeeper!
