BH my baby is getting heavier but still can't sit up on her own. At what point did you stop using the "snap n go" feature (if your stroller has that) and instead left the seat in the car and just took the baby in and out?

I am so ready to start now because it's just getting too heavy but I am going to wait another month or so until I can take her out without worrying it's too cold (now she has the bundle me keeping her warm in the car seat). Whatever works for you though is fine, for me it's going to be at about 9 months or so.

I take it on a trip-by-trip basis as long as the baby still fits comfortably and safely in the infant seat. If she was awake when we arrived, I'd take her out of the carseat, and if she was asleep I'd snap-n-go it. Also kept her in due to cold sometimes as harriet suggests, it's warmer to keep her in the seat all covered up until we get indoors.

Good points! I wasn't even thinking about the weather being a factor. I'm guessing my baby with the seat is about 30 lbs, and I don't know how much longer I can shlep her in it up stairs into our condo.
