I never liked sundays, add my dh being on call every sunday only adds to the annoyance.

what should I do with my 3 year old and 1 year old? staying at home all day is not an option, since we do that shabbos. and plus I get in frenzy clean up organization mode, and it just makes them hang on to me more...
I'm always looking for things to do.
We have membership to the local science center, and they love it, but going Sundays is really hectic there and doing it alone is not easy.

what can I do in (nyc) thats not too hard with both kids by myself? also thats age appropriate

Move to Israel "Where the Monday morning Blahs begin on Sunday" (saw that on a T-shirt). Shabbat is the kid's only day of rest (though they may change that - no guarantees)

Can you get together with friends/ family?

Otherwise, go to the 99 cents store/ Amazing Savings/ another cheap store, and then to pizza...

Maybe if you have a friend that also has small kids, you two can catch up while the little ones play Wink

Instead of doing house work indoors, can you strap them into a carriage and do your errands?

Are you working all week? For me, Sunday is just like the rest of the week. My husband has a regular workday schedule on Sundays too, and I am a freelancing WAHM. However I manage (or don't) all week, is what I also do on Sundays.

What activities do you normally do with them?

Park park park! As long as your bundle the kids, you can really go pretty much anytime.

You can also buy arts and crafts supplies at the dollar store, which would probably keep your 3 yr old busy for a while.

I had same issue. I went on got babysitting job for sundays. My toddler has company there, and I get paid for his entertainment. I don't babysit all week; I work in diff field, so its still a change of pace than rest of week.
