I need a PC Windows (is that the same thing?) laptop. Cheap and good. The best cheap one out there. And I'm reading lists and websites and it's giving me a headache. Chromebook, Acer, gosh my head is spinning. You ladies are lots of techie smartiepants that know this stuff. Please can you help me?

Will you be using DVDs because with a chromebook you cant.
What will you be doing with it? only using it for internet or will you need office and word?
Tell me what you need it for and I could help you find one.

Thanks! I need it for work. I already have Mac, so I guess DVDs aren't necessary, although it would be nicer to have that once I'm buying.
It needs to be able to run all of the regular Windows programs.

My Acer does not have a D drive. I hate the touch-screen and I can't stand Windows 8.
I realized all this after I bought it so be well aware beforehand.
