How does "kol b'isha" apply in situations when you can't tell if it's a woman singing? Such as in cartoons when sometimes men play a female character (I.e. Miss piggy) or the voice is synthsized (ie. Alvin & the Chipmunks) or like in acapella when some men sing falsetto to reach the high notes. I'm looking for a mainstream halachic source that generally considers kol b'isha assur.

If it isnt a woman no issur. Period. Not even to listen to a castrated man sing in falsetto.

Some little boys can be trained to sing just like women. Some little girls like little boys, too.
