I've been using the bugaboo for 7+ years and 3 kids and havent regretted it once. Yes, each carriage has it's negative points, but I'm really impressed it has lasted this long and is still in really good condition.

I'm the OP going to be using the stroller in NY so going to be putting it in the car sometimes. The stroller is being bought for us and the person offered us a Bugaboo but I like the Uppababy.

I have the donkey and love it. yes its heavy but any well made stroller is going to be heavy. The bassinet on the bugaboo is longer than the uppa baby so while I was able to use mine for 6 months my friends with the uppa baby could really only uses theres for 3/4 months before their baby outgrew theirs. Bugaboo now makes their canapoies with expandable hoods. Also, so many ppl bought the vista wiht the intention of it becoming a double and soooo few ppl actually use it like that just an fyi.
