HELP: I'm IY"H leaving early Sunday morning and need to clean my stroller and car seat. The baby is not at that stage where she is dragging crumbs around, but we sometimes feed her in both the stroller and the car seat. How to clean them???
TIA!

if it's not dirty and you just need to get rid of crumbs, use the hose of the vacuum cleaner and just clear them really well.
otherwise you can remove the liners to the car seat and stroller (don't remove them unless you are sure how to put them back!), wash in the machine, and put back after they have air dried (do not dry in dryer or they will lose their shape).

But don't put the carseat straps in the washing machine - it weakens them and makes them less safe.

Also don't use chemical cleaners on the straps. And read the directions that came with your carseat, not all of them are OK with machine washing the padding. Mine said to hand wash. I vacuum out the plastic shell and the upholstery, spray and wipe the shell (using chemical spray to neutralize the chometz) and wipe off any visible shmutz on the padding and straps with a damp paper towel or rag.

Do what I did. Invest in a $40 steam machine. You'll bless me forever!

Why would you have to do more than shake or vacuum out crumbs? A freshly washed stroller and car seat are nice but is it necessary in order for them to be used on pesach?
