Does anyone know if you can bake a cheesecake in a toaster oven?

That's the only way I've ever done it.
(Can't compare with oven since I never had a milchig one)

Just make sure it's not like my old toaster which would bake unevenly - in that case you'd need to turn the cake around half way through the baking time.

Greenfire posted this recipe years ago and I've made it many times since. Easy and good!
1 8 oz whipped cream cheese
1 8 oz package farmer's cheese
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 Tbs lemon juice (or juice of half lemon or lime)
mix (no mixer needed)
bake (I put in toaster oven at 275 for 45 min - 1 hr)
variations - leave some and add cocoa & sugar to marbleize
serve with fresh berries on top

This. Very important if you don't want to burn it.

I'm going to try this. I made one on Friday and the top burnt. I scraped it off and it tasted fine (I think as fine as it could of, I didn't love the recipe). But I'd rather a smooth top.
when I bake a shallow cheese cake in a graham cracker crust they come out great.
But in a spring form pan I have a problem with the top burning because it is too close to the heating element.

Maybe make a crown cover for the pan. Take a sheet of foil larger than the pan, fold in quarters, cut out a circle in the middle that's a few inches smaller than the top of the pan, and cover the pan. Bake.

Wanna make greenfire's recipe. You say to bake it on 275 for an hour and later you say to reduce by 35 degrees. Seems very low to me. Is it a typo? Is the 2 really a 3 and it's 375 and I need to bake it on 350? (toaster oven doesn't have 245 do I'll have to estimate.

keep a close eye on the cheesecake and adjust as necessary
bake until just about set, just a drop jiggly
when done, open toaster oven door just a tiny crack (stick in a mixing spoon or something) and allow the cheesecake to cool completely in there to avoid cracks

You need to put the toaster setting on "bake", that way the top elements don't heat up, only the bottom ones do (and then you have to watch that the bottom shouldn't burn)
