I have been looking through the posts on less expensive dinner menus and there are a lot of great recipes. Unfortunately though I am allergic to legumes (beans, lentils, peanuts etc.) and nuts which cuts out many of the suggested recipes. I can eat chickpeas though so I usually throw in chickpeas for any recipe that calls for beans. I have to say that B"H DH is allergic to absolutely nothing! During the week DH likes me to generally stick to less carb heavy options, which usually means adding some brown rice or potatoes maybe once or twice a week. I love using the slow cooker because I can just stick everything in in the morning and forget about it. Does anyone have any suggestions for menus for me? I'm getting a little stuck.
