A jar waiting to go out with recycling smashed on the kitchen floor. I picked up whatever I could find and then went over the entire floor with a damp paper towel THREE times and on the last round STILL found more shards of glass! What now?! I am paranoid because I have little kids running around who know how to take off their own shoes but don't know how to stay away from a floor that could still have glass slivers. Help!

sweep sweep sweep!

Also sometimes glass flies when it shatters, so it could be in the rooms leading off from your kitchen, too, so make sure you sweep there also.

I don't have a vacuum... I thought paper towel would be more thorough than broom but IDK... ugh. Of course, shortly before yomtov with naked kids just out of the bath... of course.

sweep the whole room and adjacent area out the door FIRST, then use damp paper towel to get the tiniest slivers. Remember to sweep in corners and under appliances. Absolutely no bare feet for the next week or three. Slivers will show up now and then.

Use cottonwool it picks up the invisible shards ( read it in a baby mag)
