Warning- the following clip will make you want to reach for the nearest bar of soap to shove down this kids mouth.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lFVQqcz22L4

I am posting the link because Imamother censors will block out half my words if I try to describe the act.

This is a 12 year old boy from white plains. Clean cut. Wearing a kippah. Came with his proud parents.

And proceeded to perform a stand up comedy routine that should have been rated X.

Of course the judges loved it. Good boy goes bad.

Now I know his act doesn't speak to his personality and he could be a nice sweet kid but really, this is how he wants the world to see him?

And what are his parents thinking.

I am fairly liberal- no, I'm very liberal and I was discusted by this.

No twelve year old should talk like this. Especially in front of thousands of ppl and a tv audience. Especially with his parents consent. Especially wearing a kippah and "representing" religious Jews to the world (he is only the 2nd outwardly religious looking person on the show)

I'm just flabbergasted.

Ew. And really not funny unless maybe you're a teenager yourself? I wonder what his school thinks about this.

I was wondering the same thing. And Im hoping that the letters on his kippah were not school initials-ie an official school kippah- that would be horrible for the school

His delivery is also really poor and very scripted

Agree btw that his delivery was lousy

If a non religious adult had performed that act he would have been booed off the stage. They only loved it for the double shock value

The dad wasn't wearing a kippa. Maybe the kid just put it on for shtick. In other words, who says he's frum?

He WAS wearing a kippah in the beginning. This wasn't funny.

if my kid said that stuff in public, I'd take off my kippah before going on stage too. and I'd ground the kid for life. possibly disown him...

Disgusting. I'm totally offended. He's 12. Seriously? A 6th grader?

Gross.

Ouch. I will not override K9 for this. But for anyone who needs some good brainwashing (and I can't imagine how one can watch this and not want to thoroughly clean those braincells, go to "Kiddush Hashem! Bronx Youth Poetry Slam" in Notable Clips and Links.

At 12 I think this is a reflection mostly on his parents. What people wouldn't do for attention

Did not watch, but why in the world would such an act be worthy of AGT?

I'm pretty sure Dad had a kippa on the whole time. It just sat far back and blended with his hair.

I first heard about this from a non-Jewish friend, who was disgusted by it. For the record, neither she nor anyone else commented on the fact that he was Jewish.

Sad that two Jewish judges (Howard Stern and Howie Mandel) liked him so much.

Well, I understand Howard Stern- the kid is practically a mini-Howard Stern!
