Title says it all-I'm wondering if people allow their sons and daughters to swim together and until what age (if there's any cut off at all).

My 12 year old swims with her younger brothers (but not with any other boys) and someone thought it was odd and it got me thinking. . .

TIA!

I have a pool in my backyard. From age 6, my boys do not go swimming with women/girls other than their sister. As they get older, my kids stopped swimming together on their own.

My 11 year old daughter still swims with my 6 year old son. But she does wear a t-shirt over her bathing suit. She feels more comfortable that way, and I think it's more appropriate.
