my 3.5 dd is a really good kid. shes a good listener, and has always been a good sleeper.
I give the kids a bath at 645, I start putting baby down at 7, and my 3.5 year old waits for me by either watching a little uncle moishy, playing on my phone, wtvr it is...
then by 720 ish, I start w her, and we read some books, and I stay w her for a few minutes.
the past two nights she refuses to stay in bed. and shes never done this be4! she doesnt cry, she just stares at me and says im not tired. she goes in and out, in and out, last night it took till 1030!!!!!!!! for her to fall asleep. today, as you can imagine she was beyond exhausted(and it was her first day of camp!) so I thought shed fall asleep right away, not at all. she tells me shes not tired, I leave, she follows...it took me 45 sitting there until she fell asleep.
what should I say or do? in the moment I can't think of a punishment....
I might be getting ahead of myself, but I need advice on how to nip this in the bud, be4 it becomes nightly drama

My 3.5 year old does this when he is overtired. He gets a second wind and gets hyper. I find camp tires him out more than school and he needs to be in bed half an hour earlier give or take.
