I'm sending lunch to a family and I was planning on making tuna quiche and a salad. What else can I send that will go well? It is for lunch not super, so maybe that will be enough? Still I would like to add one more thing in case someone doesn't like tuna quiche.

Thanks

I sent a mushroom quiche and cookies once for a meal.

It seemed enough - I eat a quiche by itself for a meal.

But I wasn't so experienced then. Next time I would send more food just to be sure, maybe add a salad like you did.

In the winter I'd say soup. Maybe some cut up fruit? If you have time maybe some plain macaroni if there are kids

Do they have younger children? If so, it's definitely possible that they might prefer a simple pasta instead of quiche, it can be a more familiar option. I'd enjoy the quiche though! Very Happy

I made cheese quiche for supper the other night. I served it with a vegetable salad and fresh rolls.

I'd add dessert since you've already covered carbs, protein, and veggies. Smile

I've never understood how people could just eat quiche and be full - unless they ate a huge portion (1/4 pie, a big personal quiche, etc). Quiche itself is NOT filling for me. Definitely add a salad and something else - pasta, rolls, fruit, cookies, etc.

Its for someone sitting shiva. Its a lunch meal so the kids are all out at camp. Just the adults will be home. I will probably add rolls and maybe a pasta as well.

Thanks
