I would love to be a nurse 1 day, but I would like to start to learn on my own with some books to see if its something I can do, any ideas of websides or books? Thanks

go to the closest community college and take chemistry and anatomy & physiology. They are pre-requisites for nursing, and you will get a feel for the field.
