I don't know if this helps, but many times at the end of the rows at Target they have bins on clearance for much cheaper so I buy those. The big ones then are around 4 -5$.

They have those also at the end of the rows at Target. I just picked up 5 shoe box size boxes for about $3. And they have other sizes in between - but is hit or miss depending on what is on clearance.

LOL Single. My toys are not that small!
Maybe for beads, though.

IKEA.
Don't know if you live near one but they are the cheapest ANYWHERE and especially for that quality.
GLIM boxes (in children's section, Showroom floor) for small items, ie, beads
SAMLA boxes (Marketplace floor, in Organizing) for EVERYTHING else.
I swear by these. The shoebox size with lid is $2.50, and the quality is insanely good.

BINGO! And I can order them online! Thanks, Scotty!
(Thank you Single, as well, for taking the time to post those links. I have some of those 3-drawer things. But I need separate bins more, for things like lLegos, soft blocks and those foam tiles that interlock, and they take up a lot of space.)

What did I do wrong, I bought plastic storage boxes from IKEA and the lids don't stay closed, they don't "click." Then I found something that looked like it was supposed to hold the bins closed, but I couldn't get them to work. Went back to Sterilite bins from Target. I also didn't love that the sides of the IKEA bins were slanted and indented on the sides, they don't maximize the storage space effectively enough for me.

I'm with you, seeker.
The ikea bins are sturdy but they don't really close. I've tried the ikea containers but went back to Target - sterilite containers.
