I have an expensive sheitel that I am forever fighting with:(
its straight, shoulder length, no layers, lots of hair.
It always gets knotty in the back and by the end of the day it has this puffy fuzzy look.
why does everybody else seem to manage to get their sheitel to look sleek and nice.
what am I doing wrong?

the knottyness sounds like matting, either from some hairs being sewn in upside down or from the hair being over processed. the frizzy part can be from it being natural hair, becomes some hair naturally frizzes in humidity, or overprocessing. none of which can be solved by you, you need to go to a shaitel macher who can deal with this, and most dont know what to do. I dont know wher you got the wig or how old it is.
Also who washes it? some shampoos leave a lot of residue and can cause hair to knot. some knotting in a long wig is normal, IE, just like uncontained real hair gets knots. if its like a mattress, something is wrong.
