A Bill has been introduced to the New York State Assembly and the New York State Senate to require health insurances to cover the cost of "Ostomy Supplies". A majority of people with an Ostomy will have to wear a Pouching system for the rest of their lives. Still, some major medical insurances, including some that are state sponsored, do not cover these essential supplies. the provision of suitable products enables people to resume normal, productive lives, in addition to saving avoidable treatments and hospitalizations with all their attendant issues.

The New York Ostomy Supplies Coverage Bill has passed in both the New York Senate and Assembly; all that is needed now is for Governor Cuomo to sign it into law.

It would be a great help if you could communicate your support of the bill and to urge him to sign it into law.
Therefore we created an online petition asking the Governor to sign it.

Please sign it here Petitioning Governor Cuomo to sign into law NY Ostomy Supplies Coverage Bill and send it to others to sign.

Please help us clear the last hurdle, and thank you for your all your help so far; contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks again!
