Toooons of water and cinnamon buns, then we'll have sweet potato soup, homemade bagels, cream cheese, sliced vegatables and maybe lasagna leftover from yesterday.

Water. Then a banana with diluted warm soy milk. That's about it for the night time. Maybe a piece of toast. My stomach won't tolerate more than that at that late hour, even after a fast.

Chunky potato soup, baked ziti, cheese blintzes. (We had a lot of leftovers from our pre-fast meal!)

I found this really simple recipe for artisan bread- no mixer or fancy ingredients. I prepared the dough yesterday and will bake some fresh bread tonight.

I'd also like to make some sort of cookie or cake- whatever DH is in the mood of (I'm unable to fast this year so I'd like to do what I can for him!)

That sounds lovely! Do you make the baguettes yourself? I'm actually looking for a recipe high and low. Do you have one?

Coffee and toast. I can never manage more than that after a fast. If I get hungry later on I'll have something sweet too like fruit or a granola bar.
The rest of the family will probably have omelettes and rolls that I baked yesterday and maybe what's left of the carrot/sweet potato soup from before the fast.
