Fellow foodies among us: I need recommendations for a wedding caterer. The wedding will most likely be in Philadelphia and I have not been impressed with the food from 2 of the "big" local caterers. Can you please recommend a caterer whose food you liked-/ interesting shmorg food , great desserts, well- prepared entrees -- you know. I really appreciate the help! The venue is not 100% set but we know we will be using a place that deals with kosher local and NY caterers.

I have been to events in south jersey (cherry hill) many caterers have come there. One stand out is gemstone. Very trendy amazing food and service.

what about Greenwald caterers from Lakewood? they are more pricey (I think) but their service and food is exceptional.

Greenwald Caterers in Lakewood goes to Pennsylvania and does an incredible job! They work with you and can create the style you desire.

Yes they do more than bbq. Prestige also comes down here a lot but I'm not a big fan although others are. I'd love to use the locals but the options are very limited and then there are hashgacha issues...

Main Event Caterers will travel and do events in Pennsylvania. They do a wonderful job.

There is a new caterer around who does lovely work and the food is delicious called Premier caterers. Maybe give them a call. www.thepremiercaterer.com
