What do you drink in the morning instead of coffee? Do you have a recipe that does not include a drink mix?

Please share.

Water.

And my go-to afternoon beverage.

And my go-to evening beverage.

Some ideas: tea, decaf coffee, protein shake, chocolate milk, smoothies, carrot juice...

Plenty of options Smile

Water is my go-to beverage throughout the day, but I find it makes me feel nauseous if I drink it on an empty stomach.

I am aware that there are many options available, but would like to hear from others.

Thank you for your input though.

Water is my go-to beverage too, but I'm assuming the reason for the OP is she wants something to jumpstart her day, as coffee is out. Assuming the issue is that you hate coffee but you need something to wake you up, tea is caffeinated and should do the trick. Anyway, tea is just water with brewed leaves. I don't put any sugar in mine, just a squeeze of lemon.

I usually just drink nothing. I mean water or juice or whatever I would drnk when I am thirsty.

Occasionally I drink an ice coffee on my way to work (starbucks!!).

caffeine-free diet coke/pepsi or diet 7-up/fresca
sometimes, 1 T cocoa, 1 c milk, 1 t sugar microwaved till warm -yummy!

I've also recently started drinking breakfast:
1 c milk
1 frozen banana, chunked (I slice before freezing)
1 T cocoa
Blend in blender. Very yummy and filling.

Water with a splash of juice. It gives it just enough taste to get me going, and then I do water the rest of the day.

If I have time I make a strawberry banana smoothie or the night before I make agua fresca with chia seeds (google this if you don't know what I'm talking about). Usually I just drink water

Lemon water or plain water or homemade kefir or smoothie but if youre looking for a coffee replacement then hot cocoa or herbal tea would probably make sense.

Almond milk or chocolate almond milk. Its nice and creamy.
Hot chocolate if it's cold and I need something similar to coffee.

Water and then some more water.
I always wake up feeling parched, a little dizzy and groggy, water helps that! As soon as I hydrate I eat some breakfast. I too need FOOD! But don't try to talk to me before my morning cup(s) of water Wink
