My DH tries to give my sons haircuts. He's pretty good but our hairclipper is so-so. Our boys complain that it pulls etc. Which model do you love? If you can put in a link, even better. TIA

DH uses a basic Wahl clipper. It was about $20 on Amazon.com. Even with following the maintenance instructions, it seems to be slightly less thorough after about 4 years of use but it still works well enough (I mean sometimes I have to go over a spot a few times because it seems to leave some hairs sticking up. This is more of a problem for DH than it would be for some people because his hair is very straight and bristly so you can really see if something is uneven, it sticks straight up).

We started with a $25 one, after a year or year and half it started to pull at hair
We use ours on 3 heads every 3-4 weeks
It's expensive but good

I'm happy with my Oster clipper.

I would think that it's the same as for men/boys, no?
