I have recently been gifted several packets of candied pineapple chunks in various flavours and would like to use them in a recipe. They are really too sweet to eat on their own and I have no idea what else to do with them. Any ideas?

A couple of years back Hamodia had a recipe for cookies with dried fruit in there (t'was around Tu B'Shvat time). They were delicious and different! I dont have the recipe handy, perhaps someone else does.

get a recipe for that Xmas classic, fruit cake, and use the candied pineapple in lieu of the candied citron or other dried or candied fruit called for in the recipe.
