I need to replace the linens in my boys room. They are 10 and 7 yo and my 10 yo requested nothing too 'babyish' so no animals or cars or airplanes. the carpet is blue so I'd like something with blue in it somewhere. Ideally, I'd like two different but coordinating patterns. I didnt see anything we liked at landofnod.com, lands end or potterybarn.com. I'd rather not have to actually leave my house to shop, so if anyone can recommend other sites that might have something for me, I'd really appreciate it! thanks

Ikea.com has some really nice patterns and are really reasonable! I plan on going there when I need to turn my kids beds into regular twins.

Overstock dot com, Linensource dot com, Brylane Home dot com, Lands'End
The two sets could just be two different solids

ooh ikea's a good idea, I didnt think of that.
dolly, I just might end up with two solids, but I was hoping to find something a bit more interesting. the boys are picky (this one doesnt like stripes and that one doesnt like plaid) so we might just end up with boring. maybe I'll make a couple of fun throw pillows to add some interest.

Ah. The quilts can be patterned then; the sheets don't have to be, perhaps.

The patterns are nice from Ikea, but check out the thread count: 144?? that's really quite low, they probably don't last that long.

they're really inexpensive though. I might just ask 10 yo ds which he prefers, the IKEA ones or landsend solids. I liked the ones from westelm but he thought they were too 'girly'. he's picky but I'm just happy he isnt asking for star wars sheets or something like that. I hate that kinda stuff.

What do these sets come with? Is it 2 sheets, pillowcases, blanket covers? I could also use a set, but it's hard to tell what they come with...

If you call drose linen in Boro park and tell them what you are looking for, they will email you different options. (At last, they do if you don't like in ny!) I don't know if this is a service they officially offer, but they were very helpful to me.

do you mean the ones from ikea? if so, scroll down and click on product description. the twin size comes with one duvet cover and one pillowcase sham.

H and M home section. I got my kids linen from there. Not the softest initially but they softened with washing. They sell duvet covers and are quite cheap.

thanks everyone
we ended up going back to potterybarnkids and they mixed and matched the rugby stripe with various solids. meh. they're happy and I had a gift certificate there and most of what they chose was on sale so I guess its all good.
I liked some of the ones posted here better, but whatever.
