My daughter will be in Pre-1A (year before first grade, if they call it something else where you live) next year in a school in Monsey. She has to wear a uniform and black/grey/navy tights. What type of shoes do girls usually wear to school at that age? Not sneakers, right? Can you link to some examples of a "typical" shoe?
Thanks!
(Can you tell that she is my oldest? )

Most girls here wear loafers, venettinis or atlanta mocassins. I lost my link but you can look up venettini's on 6pm.com or shoes.com
The loafers they wear either are regular or have an elastic band around the middle. Youll see them.

Casual mary janes or other strap/buckle style. Definitely not sneakers. My opinion is that they have time for slip on moccasins.
