OP,

Are you sure you got the spelling of the mother's name right? How do you pronounce it?

Yes the spelling is correct. I asked my friend and she said she was not 100% sure how to pronounce the name but in english it is carol (if that makes any difference)

Thank you everyone who davened for heather (that was the name she went by)
She was niftar a short while ago.
We all are in such complete shock.

She was one of those people that took every moment of life and drank it up to the fullest that you can and then drank even more.
She was a friend of a friend, but each time that we saw each other, I just liked being with/near her. She had the warmest and bubbliest vibes out there.

This is one of the saddest pieces of news to get so close to rosh hashana in a long time. Crying Crying Crying Crying

BD"E - so unbelievably sad. It was so quick too - you posted less than a month ago that she was just diagnosed. Really shocking.

someone started a fb page in memory of heather and wrote the following: In the merit of heather, Buy the person behind you a coffee, invite someone for a meal, visit the sick, take treats to soldiers. Do something Doda would do to pass on her legacy of making everyone around her smile and feel loved.
