I copied this recipe (I think from this site) and was about to make it just now when I realized the quantities weren't clear. How much milk does this need, 2.5 liters or cups??
Baked oatmeal
You bake it like a cake and cut it into squares that anyone too busy to sit and eat can grab and go.
This is a rough recipe to start with, which you can experiment with and adjust creatively:
5 cups oats
2.5 milk/almond milk/other liquid
4 eggs
Half cup honey or brown sugar
½ cup dried fruit
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
Add in other cereals/nuts
Bake 350 until brown
You can of course freeze it in ready cut pieces and warm them when you want them.
