People can "say it like it is" in a nicer way than just insulting everybody who crosses their path. She said something great about Israel in the same breath as she denigrated someone else. What's so wonderful about that?

I'm curious, Maya. Why is it that Jews are held to a higher status? Why are we the only group that is not allowed to defend ourselves without it becoming - but did you do it RIGHT? But was that exactly inoffensive enough?
Was the response to the kidnapping "proportionate" enough?
Why do we, as Jews, even buy into that?
Not attacking you - just genuinely curious.

Just thinking.... If people want to show gratitude for her recent very supportive public statements about Israel, and they show up at the funeral, and stand outside, will they be seen as intrusive or supportive?

How is it best to show her family how much she was appreciated?

Hey Rivers family and friends, if you're reading this, hugs and may the Omnipresent comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

How was that?

If you want to hear about a class act -- Melissa Rivers ordered pizza and water to be delivered to the reporters camped out in front of her mother's building.

Enough said.

I heard on the news that the eulogies were very touching. Specifically, if anyone finds Howard Stern's eulogy, Id love to read it or listen to it. I hear it really got to people.

TIA
