Do you give your ob a gift at post partum visit? If so, what? Do you give it to the doctor or to the office staff?

I gave everyone. But they went above and beyond for me so I felt personally grateful.
I gave my OB/GYN a bottle of nice scotch. I gave my midwife a luxury spa items basket. I bought a platter of fruit/chocolates for the office staff, with a pic of me and the baby and a nicely written thank you card. I had to use two specialists as well, and I bought them candy platters.
I'm sure there were times during my pregnancy that I was too exhausted to be as appreciative as I should have been, so I wanted all concerned to know that I was extremely grateful.

normally I would say a doctor doesn't get a gift. they do their job and they are getting paid. but ifelt like my OBGYN went above and beyond and treaded me with such care and sensitivity. I didn't get anything grand... just a nice candy platter since it was before the yomim tovim

I usually wrote an amazing thank you card to the staff, the midwife, and the doctor, gave gifts and money to the midwife, and something for everyone in the office as well....but I guess that's just me....
