My husband thinks the random pages will flop in a magazine holder, since not all my kids bring home a folder to keep them more rigid Sad

Something like this idea?

I've seen small tables in our seforim store - to keep your matzos handy near the table, or to put a menorah on (don't try this if you have small children). I can't find a picture of one now. But, depending how your room is set up, would you want such a small table?

Try
The "Tree" shop. They have small tables from around $35 up to a little over $100 for a lingerie chest, which has several small drawers, and could be a very handy storage piece.

I've also seen such little tables in Closeout Connections.

But we don't know where your new home is, HY, do we?

Nowhere near NY, but they do sell end tables and stuff here Tongue Out Just not marketed as a Jewish item!

Ra_mom -- the bookshelf is similar to what I had before and got cluttered, and both end tables are the same link, was there a third?

I think I need more like a letterbox, but not so ugly looking Wink

They have many pretty designs.
You can put all the parsha sheets as well as folders in it.
But then you need to move it off the table. Will it fit on the leichter shelf? Do you have a buffet type of item? Or in the breakfront when not in use?

Very pretty! Leichter shelf is B"H too full at this point. No buffet (or I would just put the sheets on there). Breakfront is also getting full since I consolidated everything that had been in our previous bookcase in the dining room into the storage of the breakfront, and put more stuff in the display area...

I was thinking a string, but a nail may work if you hang it by the back of the clip, not the front. alternatively, you can try something like this:

or, you can buy these:

Yeah the bottom product is more like what I need. Thanks!

Staples sells that plastic folder holder (in case you have one nearby) and have to pay postage for Amazon. I have a similar one for benchers and circulars in my kitchen.

I think a vertical one is better, and I see that on Amazon, and no postage, as I have prime -- it might be cheaper at staples but I really am extremely pressed for time and I don't mind spending $2 more (anyway I have some add on items that are hands down cheapest here Wink)

Here's a cute item that you can roll to the table & then put away without scratching the floor. You'lll just have to figure out a way to keep people from putting muktzah in it!

And an elegant serving cart:

All at Gold Violin(and other places, I'm sure)

HY, I got an email from the Xmas Tree Shop all about pet items, Y they showed three of those shelves with hooks, staggered. I wish I could post the pic but I am not sure how to do it (it's not on their web site). Of course, I immediately thought of you! Please let us know how your entryway came out!

There is a shelf ilke this with a smaller, two-cubby, white one lower and to the left, and another small, brown one to the right. I will try to 'sketch it'.

Thanks! Our latest thought is to find out if the additional school building in town has old cubbies they'd sell to us to put in Smile

I was thinking of buying short 3 shelf bookcases and stacking one on another and adding hooks, but those are not big enough in the end.

I really want to do something like http://www.polkadotchair.com/2.....html/ but it's been challenging finding something with the right dimensions and in our budget...so for now, we have a pile of stuff waiting for some organization!

My husband is really set on school cubbies http://www.schooloutlet.com/2_.....oogle

In other news, the letter box in our dining room for parsha sheets is working wonderfully and I've gotten compliments on it Tongue Out

My DH built something very similar to the one in: http://www.polkadotchair.com/2.....kers.html/
We bought pre-finished shelving from home depot [Similar to this: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unb.....8920] and used that for the frame, and in between walls and shelves. He put it together in about a day.

for 3 cubbies\ 2 sets of 2 hooks each - it was about $80 - 90 with all supplies.

For cubbies check out craigs list. Could be at the end of the school year you would find more, but when I was trying to help someone find toys we found a few schools selling old stuff over the summer.

Thanks! I can't imagine it's all that hard to build our own, it's more a matter of time constraints than anything else, but I'll take a look at CL and if nothing there and the local school has none to sell off, then I'll look into your Home Depot idea Smile
