I just opened my new Bosch for challah.
Never had a stand mixer before.
I also have the stainless steal bowl with the bottom dough hook
I put the machine together and turned it on to make sure it works before I put my ingredients in.
IS THE BOWL SUPPOSE TO WOBBLE A LITTLE BIT, or am I doing something wrong?
I want to start ASAP

It should engage and stop doing anything but turning very quickly. I have never tried it empty though. Maybe it won't settle into place as quickly that way?

Maybe I need to lock it in place somehow. The wobble is very slight

If I read up on this correctly, the stainless steel bowl doesn't lock in like the plastic does, but it still fits.

It shouldn't wobble.
Make sure the the drive pin is tight and that the dough hook fits securely.
Which version of the Bosch do you have? I realized when googling the part that there are several different ones so you may not have the parts I mentioned.
