My best friend is getting married (!!) and I am looking for a long silver/gray dress. I am 5' 3", weigh about 110-115, have a small narrow frame, and am extremely small on top.

I like a neat, put together look. I don't want deep v-necks, halter necks, anything that has too much or loose material in the chest area, or anything that looks funny with a shell underneath like a dress with no shoulders (I think they look pretty in and of themselves, but not with a shell).

Do you think I can find something like this for around $100? I would possibly go up a little more if I really like it.

I like this one but it is out of my budget. It would probably be too long too, and I don't know how easy it would be to hem it-

If you like to shop around online and would like to help me I would be very appreciative!

I bought this one for a simcha a few sizes larger so it was below the knee on me.

I did not see any longer dresses on the site though.

If you buy in Nordstrom , they will do up to $100 in alterations free, provided you open a debit or credit card with them. This comes in handy because hemming, a gown of chiffon material can cost $90...

Just a tip I thought I would share.

For about $160 you can get a satin dress with a sash or beading that won't require a shell or major alterations.
