Are you allowed to ASSEMBLE sushi on shabbos/yom tov?
**My husband will ask his Rav but until he gets a chance to was just curious if anyone knows

I am able to assemble a beautifully presented plate on shabbos. I am able to assemble beautifully cut cold cut wraps on shabbos. Sushi too.

I once asked if I'm allowed to make sandwiches or tacos on Shabbat, and was told it is definitely permissible if they were meant for consumption on Shabbat. Kal vachomer re:sushi. Though you definitely need to make wasabi paste and separate those chopsticks before Shabbat.
