My cleaning lady doesn't speak English - She speaks Hebrew. That's OK cause I speak Hebrew too though she's better at it than me so I learn... Like the difference between a pillow case and a blanket cover (Tzipit and Tzipa). So the language isn't the problem but it's the Israeli attitude. She understands perfectly what I say but then she does it her way which she insists is the right way
