We are making a Siyum and from experience I have found mini desserts work best. Looking for some new ideas.

What I found to be very helpful is cutting things small, like rainbow cookies/cake and putting them (sideways) into cupcake papers. It looks really pretty and keeps the small piece, nicely contained.

the problem I found with cutting things is they dry out quickly.

Unless you're doing a buffet, mini ice creams in disposable shot glasses is a good idea. They're super easy and tasty. You can even do a few flavors. I do mint chip, lemon crumb, strawberry sorbet with vanilla layer, choc swirl.
