What do you make in Israel, where I can only afford meat for one meal?

what about doing things taht stretch the meat further?
like beef lo mein or beef stir fry
how about ground beef? is that more affordable
and then stretching that, making knishes, egg rolls, meat pie, etc...
that could be a side dish with chicken so at least you can serve meat for more than one meal if you'd like
if not, then there's so many ways to make chicken, stuffed, or all kinds of cutlets that are still delicious and pretty

Meat is very expensive here in Israel. Chopped meat is too! I hear you on that. Are you in a community that orders meat together from Argentina? It can make buying meat more affordable. However buying chicken, at least whole chicken, is always going to be the cheapest option, IMO.

Any ideas for a really nice looking but not too patchkery dessert to bring to my ILs? I usually make chocolate lovers truffle brownies for Succos but as I'm making a birthday party on Succos for one of my kids I'm not going to have time.
