I'm trying to make more space in the bedroom, so I think we'll order a bunk bed. However, do you know of any good and safe bunk beds that would be good for toddlers (I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old). I'm also looking for one that isn't too high.

make sure that the ladder comes off, or teach them how to climb safely,

according to my dr no bunk bed is safe for children under 6yo and bunk beds are one of the biggest causes for broken bones in the younger crowd.
that said I do remember once seeing a bunk bed with a crib incorporated. it was very low to the ground too.

I'm not a big fan of bank beds as well but my husband thinks it's a great idea. I'm also concerned about the safety since they're still young toddlers. Right now we live in a small place and I'm expecting another one so we need to make more room. Maybe I should look for a twin bed that opens up one bed to the ground for me little one?

We just bought a junior loft bed, its much lower than a regular bunk bed. Only thing is its just one bed, so we put a regular toddler bed (which we had already) underneath. My kids are 5 & 4. If u have a two year old whos out of a crib, a plain matress under the loft may be good enough
