HI. Does anyone know how to get thru to an actual person or the name of a good case worker to leave a message for?
My account was cut severely when I recertified because it was July and I teach and I wasn't being paid then and they also didn't count the childcare expenses.
Now I had a baby and am being paid and can count my child care expenses, but they only added 30 dollars to my account!!!
In the summer it took me two weeks to get through but a decent case worker finally called back, but I cant remember his name

that is a pain... you wait hours and they are super nasty.
is there any office over this one.. someone to complain to about them with authority to help ?

Go to ocean county social services on hooper ave a mile past the mall
You might also want to wear a very neutral tasteful outfit that doesn't scream another one of dem chasidic Jews , and they are ten tines friendlier

I tried calling them but they said that I have to deal with the Lakewood office since I live here... seems like they had enough of picking up after the lkwd fs office s slack

It used to be that you can go to toms river but now they hanged the rules and you have to go to the Lakewood office if you live in Lakewood.

Call Menashe Miller and talk to him about the office staff treating people like dirt. I was so happy to finally lose my eligibility for food stamps. He will do something about it.
