I made a pasta salad on Wed. (erev yom tov) to serve at shalosh seudos.
There was so much left over.
Can we still eat it?
I hate throwing food out but of course wouldn't want to get anyone sick either!
what do you think?

What did you put in your pasta salad? Is there meat? If it's just pasta and vegetables, it's perfectly fine. It might not be as fresh as when you made it, but it won't make you sick.

hi -

it's just tri colored pasta with a dressing. There is vinegar in it, no mayo. I did not put in vegetables this time. For how long do you think it's good? Thanks!

It's good at least one week. I have kept salads with mayo and eggs for a week in the fridge and nothing ever happened to them. For guests I would serve food that is not more than 3 days old, to make sure it tastes really fresh and they wouldn't freak out if they knew how old it was. So for those who think a week is way too long, you can still come and eat by me.
When it turns bad, it will most likely also smell bad. I wouldn't keep it for more than 10 days though.
