What are you making the duck sauce with? Apricot jam?

I have a recipe very similar to that (I've been looking for it for OP, but it must be with my Pesach stuff which is not accessible). It was in one of the magazines once together with the recipe it was used with. I know that's not much help.

The ingredients were very similar to the above but it also has some vinegar in it. And, it tasted exactly like the real thing. I used no-sugar apricot jam (which was the reason I made it).

Sounds like a good recipe. You can definitely swap out some of the water for vinegar.
