What gift can I buy for someone who had a second baby of the same gender (not too far apart, so the first baby's clothing are not outdated yet)?

I personally would buy a nice baby blanket. I found that each of my kids used theirs and it was so nice to receive a new one for the next one in line.

Newborn sized clothing and onesies of any size. Those are the things that get most soiled and need to be replaced.
If the second baby was born in a different season then the first child's clothing won't necessarily fit.
