We are considering adding on to our tiny kitchen and I have two questions:

1. Any recommendations for a good, honest, well-priced contractor in the Monsey area?
2. Any idea how much money this would cost us? I'm not looking for bare-bone simple but don't want to go all out either. I need a ballpark just to know if this is doable for us.

I'm also concerned about how much my taxes would go up, anyone have a clue about that?
