So here's the thing.
I love the black opague tights look especially if it's ribbed but I hate the way it looks on the foot. Am I the only one who notices that black opaque tights makes one's foot look thicker?
So I'm still wearing my nudes and wondering if I should venture into the thinner blacks. I know it's not as fashionable.....
What do you think or suggest?
I'd love to wear it with fall colored shoes and booties.

Would love opinions. Is Sheer black to dressy for everyday? Can I substitute my nudes and black opaque with sheer black?

I personally feel although ribbed may make your legs look heavier, plain black opaque should not.
Black is supposed to be a slenderizing color.
Is there anything in the middle between black opaque and sheer. Sheer is very dressy for every day, I think.

I think sheer black is too dressy for everyday...
I don't find that plain opaque black tights make u look thicker...
Good Luck finding something you feel comfy in

Sheer black isn't too dressy, it's just way out of style. That being said, I like it.
Maybe you would like the "off black" color?
Again, not in style, but if you like it, go for it.
I wear boots a whole winter and try to find whatever weird tights I can to put under them.

Funny, just the other day I met an old friend while I was out and about, and she was wearing the more sheer black stockings - not very opaque, not ultra sheer. You know, the kind that I wore back in high school and not since! She's the type to be fashionable, and that got me wondering.
Is black sheer back?

I was wondering the same thing. In the last 2 weeks I've noticed several women wearing sheer black hose on Shabbos & would love to go back to wearing them.
