Desperate for something to properly keep drawers closed. Besides for drawers being opened and emptied all day, he keeps closing her fingers in them. We have already tried 3 different types of locks. Any ideas?

We rearranged our house and put a limit on the area where the babies are allowed to roam. We use child gates that stretch the whole length of the room in some areas, with no drawers or doors in that area. But then, we're crazy safety conscious.

I purchased magnetic locks on amazon. I have them on my china cabinets and bookshelf doors and bh they're great! Like chani8, I also have great baby gates to keep my baby in (and out) of specific rooms

It's a rented dirah so we can't drill.
The main problem is the kitchen. It's not a hallway so gating it is kind of complex because we would need a gate that can go across the whole room.
Not sure if that exists?

Can you take the handles off the drawer (save them and put on after this stage is over)
We had a row of 3 drawers. For a while, it helped to stick a long stick through all the handles together - it made the drawer too heavy for him to open (3 at once!!) and he stopped.
