I have an almost full jar of apple cider vinegar sitting in my fridge. How can I use it up? We dont like vinegar in salad dressing. Any other ideas?

You can take it out of the fridge. Vinegar does not need to be refrigerated AFAIK. I keep white, cider & rice vinegar on my counter.
If you are trying to use it up, you can use it instead of salt when you soak leafy greens to check for bugs.

Do you have fruit flies? I hear it's good for catching them. Does it really need to be refrigerated? Regular vinegar doesn't.

If you don't want to use it in food prep, use it up for cleaning, checking veg, cleaning glass/ windows/ shower cubicles/ mirrors/stains, in appropriate dilutions.
And take it out the fridge, doesn't need it.

My SCD/pesach version of sweet and sour meatballs.
4 - 4.5 cups tomato sauce* (28 + 8 oz cans)
2 cups crushed pineapple (20 oz can)
1 1/8 cups honey
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 top kosher salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
If you need the meatball part of the recipe (year round version or the pesach version) or more details let me know.
*scd ingredient/method slightly different

You can also put some in a ziplock bag and put your shower head in there to soak overnight. It will clear out all the mineral deposits and make your showering experience nicer

vinegar is not tasty ... you swig back a shot before each meal - every day

I used to mix it with hot tea with lemon to make colds go away faster.
I use it in laundry. If I leave a clean load in the washer overnight it smells bad in the morning, so when I rewash it, I add some apple cider vinegar to the laundry and it smells good again. It also gets out urine odors from laundry better than detergent alone.

It does not taste good plain - in my opinion.
but I find that it is amazing in getting rid of a bad soar throat - either in a tea or gargling (diluted in water).
I use it for fruit flies.
Corn beef sauce
But not all apple cider vinegars are created equal. I recently bought a heimish brand and it wasn't the same (the fruit flies definitely didn't like it)
It doesn't need to be in the fridge. I store it with my other vinegars in a cabinet.
